Converting Fahrenheit to Celsius.

To convert a number in degrees Fahrenheit to degrees Celsius, subtract 32, multiply the answer by 5, and then divide that answer by by 9.

For example, if the temperature outside is 55 degrees Fahrenheit, we could convert that to degrees Celsius like this:

First, subtract 32 from 55, which gives us 23.

Next, multiply by 5, which gives 115.

Finally, divide by 9, which results in 12.78 degrees Celsius.
